Mission
Our mission statement was built from the principles that Central Valley PACE was founded on a commitment to unconditional care that extends from participants to partners. Think of every interaction we have whether it’s a web page, a brochure or a face-to-face encounter as an opportunity to use our voice. Central Valley PACE embodies our ideal of health care. We aim to help all participants, regardless of their financial or medical circumstances, and provide a special focus on serving the underserved.
Vision
We want Central Valley PACE to act as an example to other PACE programs. We aim to deliver care that has a positive impact on the field of healthcare as a whole. It’s our intention that Central Valley PACE’s dedication to all participants inspires eventual change in the healthcare system to reflect an all encompassing system that welcomes participants of all kinds.

PACE participants must receive all needed health care services, including primary care and specialist physician services (other than emergency services), from Central Valley PACE or an entity authorized by Central Valley PACE. A PACE participant may be fully liable for the cost of medical services from an out-of-network provider or without previous authorization (except for emergency services).
How much does Central Valley PACE cost?
Central Valley PACE receives payments from Medicare/Medicaid, if applicable, to cover expenses for its participants. Most people who have both Medicare and Medicaid pay nothing more for the program. Once enrolled in PACE and Medicare/Medicaid eligible, if you are admitted to a nursing facility you may be liable for a patient pay amount as determined by the State of California. PACE members are liable for the cost of services not authorized by Central Valley PACE out of network health services.
